Solutions for the Challenges of Moves, Estate Sales, and Online Auctions in Hermosa Beach

Hermosa Beach has seriously limited parking.  There are also Walk-Streets.  This can be a challenge for Moves, Estate Sales, and Online Auctions.

For moves, we adjust the placement of the truck to the specific needs of the property.  If there is a very steep driveway, we may park the truck at the bottom of the driveway and use dollies for the furniture.  We may park the truck in an alley, if available, and move the items out by the back door.

In the areas with less parking availability, Online Auctions are one way to maximize the use of the available parking.  This is because the winning bidders are spread out over time, which means the same parking space can be used by more than 1 customer.  At a traditional Estate Sale, people show up whenever they can, and sometimes they come in greater numbers at one time, with later times in the day being less well attended.  This can result in parking stress.

In the hillier areas, we have asked customers to park at the bottom of the driveway and walk on up, rather than trying to park several vehicles at the top of the driveway and then having them jostle to leave.

On the walking streets, we will try to locate the closest place for Auction Pick-up customers to park and suggest winning bidders bring what they need to get the items back to their vehicles.  Sometimes they can park in an alley and go out the back door.  Every situation will be handled in the safest manner available at that location. We adjust to the situation and warn winning bidders to allow extra time to manage the walking streets.

Before we set up a move or a Sale, or a Pick-up we review the needs of the property.  Each property is different.  Tim is a strategist, and he will have a plan in mind for the logistics of your move or sale so that safety of all concerned and ease of movement is maximized.
