Rolling Hills Estates has many residential areas, and one commercial center. Horse paths are plentiful, and horses and their riders can be seen most days from the main streets. There are some private schools, several stables, and a truly relaxing atmosphere.

There is are two shopping centers along Silver Spur Road, as well as the Promenade Mall. Farther east, there is one shopping center across from the reservoir.

PV Drive North- Much of the Palos Verdes Drive North area is zoned for horses. Many homes have larger lots. There are many horse trails here. There is traffic after school and work.
Silver Spur- A beautiful and clean neighborhood near the action on Silver Spur. Some homes are on pretty steep hilly streets, but they are beautiful, and some have great views of the LA basin.
Parts of Crest and Parts of PV Center These neighborhoods are in the center of the Peninsula. They are close to shopping, schools, and Highridge Park. Even though ocean views are not as common, there are some views of the LA basin.
Parts of La Cresta- A peaceful neighborhood with quiet surroundings. Everything is well maintained and beautiful.

Dealing with the Challenges of Moves, Sales, and Auctions in Rolling Hills Estates

We have done several moves for residents going to Merrill Gardens and Peninsula Pointe. The well-maintained streets surrounding both communities make for easy moving into the communities.

We have also managed many moves from homes or condos in Rolling Hills Estates to all kinds of locations. The only challenges that we have encountered are some steep driveways, which caused the moving trucks to park at the bottom of the driveway in some cases. Since we came prepared with dollies, this was not a problem.

We have done numerous Estate Sales and Online Auctions in Rolling Hills Estates. The only time we noticed a challenge was again related to very steep driveways. The solution is to have the winning bidders or shoppers park at the bottom of the driveway and walk up the driveway. When someone is collecting large furniture, we only allow 1 person at a time to drive up and park in the steep driveway. If needed, we have an employee stand at the bottom of the driveway to direct traffic.
