Redondo Beach

Redondo Beach is a coastal city located in the South Bay region of Metropolitan Los Angeles.  Redondo Beach is well known for the Hollywood Riviera, where actors came to relax in the 1930’s and 40’s.  The King Harbor and Pier attract folks from all over for their restaurants, views, and activities.

Redondo Beach is also host to the South Bay Galleria, and many amazing shopping options.  The sea breeze cools most homes in the summer, and folks do come from other counties to beat the heat.

How We Overcome the Hills and More During Projects:

Redondo Beach is mostly built on sand dunes that parallel the Pacific Ocean.  Some streets are fairly flat, while others can be quite steep.  In the different areas, the availability of parking varies greatly as well.

For moves, we adjust the placement of the truck to the specific needs of the property.  If there is a very steep driveway, we may park the truck at the bottom of the driveway and use dollies for the furniture.

In the areas with less parking availability, Online Auctions are one way to maximize the use of the available parking.  This is because the winning bidders are spread out over time, which means the same parking space can be used by more than 1 customer.  At a Traditional Estate Sale, people show up whenever they desire, and sometimes they come in greater numbers at one time.  This unplanned arrival of crowds can result in parking stress. We try to avoid that by having a sign up for auction pick-up and then if there are items that didn't seem as cost effective for the sale, we allow the winning bidders to briefly shop at the picker sale.

In the hillier areas, we have asked customers to park at the bottom of the driveway and walk on up, rather than trying to park several vehicles at the top of the driveway and then having them jostle to leave.

Before we set up a move or a Sale, or a Pick-up we review the needs of the property.  Each property is different.  Tim is a strategist, and he will have a plan in mind for the logistics of your move or sale so that safety of all concerned and ease of movement is maximized.
